Customer Service and Sales Specialist

POSITION Overview:
This position serves customers by maintaining customer relationships, providing product and service information, selling products, resolving product and service problems. This position may also support marketing operations by compiling, formatting and reporting information and materials; aiding in creating marketing pieces, promotions and social media.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILTES:
Sales and Customer Service:
o Aids company in general receptionist/telephone duties using call scripts with outgoing/friendly demeanor.
o Assist customers by answering product, service and installation questions using established processes.
o Avoids technical and legal challenges by researching answers and consulting with management staff.
o Service customers by taking and processing orders using established procedures.
o Resolves product or service complaints using established processes; follow through to ensure resolution;
preparing and presenting report and recommendations to management.
o Aids sales staff in setting up new accounts; maintaining customer records; preparing customer deposits
and monthly statements.
o Assist Sales Manager by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing customers or
potential new accounts; focus sales efforts by studying existing/potential volume and market conditions.
o Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing
professional publications.
o Documents actions by completing documentation forms and reports; Contributes to team effort by
accomplishing related results.
Applicants with skills in Graphic Design/Marketing may also:
o Aid in preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans and objectives using market data.
o Prepare mailers, brochures by formatting layout, content and graphics; aid in arranging printing/internet.
o Support sales staff by assembling quotations, proposals, presentations, videos, slide shows,
demonstrations and product capability booklets.
o Prepare daily reports and weekly work plans; submit monthly marketing report.
o Maintain marketing library (including vendor materials) by checking and restocking up to date material.
o Assist in updating website, Constant Contact, Facebook and other digital/social media.
o Work with Documentation Specialist for new products, marketing processes etc.
o Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests,
exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments; contributes to team effort by accomplishing
related results.


SKILLS /
Qualifications:
General office experience/computer skills, MS Office skills, telephone skills, verbal and written communications skills, dependability, attention to detail, organization, confidentiality, independence and the ability to analyze. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
